Resolve Problems with your Sound or Camera in Teams
Here are a few simple steps that resolve most Sound and Camera issues in Teams when having issues with others being unable to hear or see you.
Is your camera plugged in and On?
Make sure it is plugged in and the light on the camera looks like this:
The lights should be on.
If there is no light, unplug the camera and plug it back in.
Are your Speakers turned up?
On most DTC office laptops sound comes out of the front of the laptop below the keyboard. Make sure that your speakers aren't muted inside of Windows and the volume is turned up:
It never hurts to Make sure your settings are correct in Teams
1. With the meeting going on, click the three dots ... at the top of the Teams window
2. Click Device settings in the drop-down menu
3. On the right side of the Teams window the Device settings window will show
4. Normally the settings should look like the settings shown
5. Ensure Speaker is Speakers (Realtek(R) Audio
6. Ensure Microphone is Microphone (C922 Pro Stream Webcam)
7. Ensure Camera is c922 Pro Stream Webcam
